Dow Jones Industrial Average YM

DJIA is the price weighted average o 30 lrgest blue chip stocks traded on the US stock markets. Symbol YM for mini Dow futures, traded on the electronic platform ECBOT of the Chicago Board of Trade.(CBOT) The 30 component stocks that make up the DJIA can be found here.

S&P 500 ES Commentary

A benchmark market capitalization weighted index of 500 stocks traded in the USA. Includes some multinationals that trade on multiple markets. E=mini S&P 500 index futures symbol ES traded on Globex, the electronic trading platform of Chicago Mercantile Exchange.(CME)

Nasdaq 100 NQ Commentary

NQ is the mrket capitalization weighted index of the largest 100 technology companies traded on the Nasdaq stock market in the US. Symbol for the Nasdaq 100 index futures is NQ, like the ES, traded on Globex. The component stocks that make up the Nasdq 100 index can be found here, along with a history of the index. QQQQ is another instrument that is an ETF, which tracks the movement of the Nasdaq 100.

Russell 2000

A barometer of small capitalized stocks on US stock markets. Index comprise 2000 small cap stocks weighted according to free float. Also traded on Globex.
